Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992. She then began an education in marine science at the Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage. Bossard began her professional career in the field of seafood commercial worker in the year 1999. Bossard began working on the F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner which was converted into a salmon tender in the name of Murat Aritan. She had been working as a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard is married to Aritan. They have now come together and have claimed their respective industries. They support conservative and sustainable renewable resource management. Otolith is a wholesale direct seafood company, was established on the 7th of July 2007 Bella Bossard (age three), Andre Bossard (1 year old) as well as Bossard's mom.
